🚀 Quick 3-Step Setup for Caregivers
FamilyGuard Browser operates in two modes: an unlocked Caregiver Mode for administrative setup, and a locked OnGuard Mode for your loved one.
Curate Bookmarks
Switch to Caregiver Mode (default PIN: 1234). Browse to your loved one's favorite sites (church, hobby forums, news) and tap "Add Bookmark".
Inspect Safe Domains
In Bookmarks, tap the Shield (🛡️) next to each site. Our live scanner automatically captures necessary asset CDNs while isolating unwanted ad trackers.
Lock into OnGuard
Tap "Set as Default" (★) on their primary site, then tap "Lock OnGuard". The browser locks down into a clean, tile-based window with zero address bar confusion.
💡 Caregiver Tip: Set the Default Home Page
In the Bookmarks manager, tap the Star (☆) button next to any bookmark to set it as the Default Startup Page. The browser will automatically open this bookmark whenever launched and whenever the senior taps the Home button.

How do I change the default PIN?
Unlock Caregiver Mode using 1234, tap the PIN button in the amber status bar, and enter your new 4-digit code.
Can I remove this "Getting Started" bookmark?
Yes! Once you've set up your family bookmarks, you can delete this bookmark from the Bookmarks manager. You can always access this guide anytime from the "Guide" button in Caregiver Mode.
What if a website isn't loading properly?
Open the Bookmarks manager, tap the Shield (🛡️) next to the bookmark, and run "Audit Live Site". Check any missing asset CDNs that the site requires to render its styles or video player.
